A Florida teen has come forward with accusations of what many might consider sexual abuse, all at the hands of a veteran Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer.
47-year-old Alejandro Carmona, a law enforcement official with 15 years seniority, was charged on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 with online solicitation of a child, transmission of harmful material to a child and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The victim, a male teenager who claims he was only 16 when he first met the officer at a local gym. According to sources linked to the teen, Carmona began grooming the youth by first pretending to be interested in sharing workout tips. During the weeks to follow, the officer began sharing explicit content with the high school student.
Authorities caught wind of the relationship after receiving a tip in late February, 2022. That tip lead investigators to a discovery of nudes images of Carmona that were sent through Snapchat to the underage boy. Based on the findings, Carmona was immediately suspending pending further investigation.
Carmona was booked on $100,000 bail which was posted, prompting his release shortly thereafter.
Back in 2020, Officer Carmona was involved in another strange case regarding excessive force. According to another media source, atlantablackstar.com, Carmona was involved in a situation with a 30-year-old Jacksonville Black filmmaker whose front teeth were knocked out after she asked Carmona to leave her property while the officer was on duty.
